A slight diversion here. Seeing as everyone and their mother are jumping on the Beatles bandwagon to promote the remastered albums, I thought I'd go along with it and post some of my favourite Beatles covers...and who know's, maybe 'they'll' send me the mono and stereo box set along with a copy of Beatles rockband game and other merchandise...So first up we've got one of my very favourites, Big Daddy (no not that one) with his clever cover of perhaps the greatest Beatles song? 'A Day In The Life'. See what he's done here is transpose the lyrics onto a Buddy Holly/50's style track that works really well. Turn it up at the end for an alternate final chord...
