Christmas comes but once a year, to the great relief of many and the abundant joy of others.

It's also a time we receive a slew of 'xmas recordings' to delight us, and so, for the next few weeks I will share a few favourites...
Childrens/School recordings are often a source of such joy and 'The Children Of The Inpatient Music Therapy Program_Christmas' recording is no exception. I guess it's not quite up there with 'The Langley School's Music Project' but it's certainly a goody and it is certainly seasonal...great cover too,really brings it to life,though I must admit to being a bit spooked by the first track 'What You Gonna Call Your Pretty Little Baby', as the title suggest's a New York Dolls/Iggy Pop track rather than a paen to our Lord Jesus...

Why Do People HAve To Fight-Hervé Villechaize

In these times of hate and wars it's often good to sit back, relax and ask yourself, like Hervé does here, 'Why Do People Have To Fight'. Well, it's a biggie, unlike Hervé, who suffered from depression, alcoholism and health problems which lead to his suicide, shooting himself at home in 1993. .

'We know we're young, we know we're small, but love is all that matters to all'

Not sure how 'young' Hervé was when he did this, but he was small and thus could bond with the children in the song with his message of hope, perhaps Obama could adopt it as an unofficial anthem or something...
