Mr Snuggles-Anonymous

Haunting, quite haunting...is how I'd best describe 'Mr Snuggles' by this unknown artist..., it keeps coming back into my mind and confusing me with childhood memories of the cartoon show 'Dr Snuggles', so that I can't really think of one without the other now. She must surely have been referencing the cartoon show as it does have that vibe...
Speaking of 'Dr Snuggles' I never knew a couple of episodes were written by Douglas Adams and John Adams (Hitchikers Guide/Spitting Image fame) ...check out the clip below and enjoy the Snuggles...!

Round and Round-Mae Questal

Think you'll either love or hate this one...as if you can't guess, Mae Questal was the voice of Betty Boop as well as being an actress/vocal artist. She also did Olive Oyl for Fleichser studios as well as many live action appearances, finishing up, very suitably, with a cameo in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit'.

Donkey Kong Theme

Not sure whether this track is from the Saturday Supercade of Nintendo cartoons but I really like the way they varispeed everything so it's all off-key and out of time...I guess this wasn't delibrate but certainly adds to it in my ears!

Went out to see the play 'Twilight Of The Gods' by Julian Doyle at the 'Courtyard Theatre' last night and very good it was too. However afterwards in the pub this genius cartoon by the legendary Chuck Jones kept popping into my head...
